Sam is an 18 year old TikTok phenom who hooked a fanbase of teenage girls on his 'Emily' POV series on TikTok within weeks of joining, and within four months on the app already had over 1 million loyal fans. These fans (sometimes referred to as The Emilies) typically claim in comments on TikTok and YouTube to be 'The Real Emily' after the off camera character to which he plays, so Sam made a line of merch featuring the line "I am the real Emily'.
His engagement on TikTok is higher than real world celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and Will Smith. In his fourth month on the app, he secured representation with a talent agent.
