I've launched a brand new podcast! I've been meaning to do this for YEARS as people have always responded well to my audio courses, but I never got around to it. Well, 2020 is the year, so head across to Anchor.fm/rebeccabardess or Spotify to grab the first three episodes and subscribe.
Here's the latest episode. It's not for everyone, since it contains some 18+ content, but I am just OVER seeing so much utter BS about both relationships and sex on TikTok. If those of you who are freshly minted adults follow this crap, you'll have horrible sex lives, catch all kinds of diseases, and be generally unfulfilled. I can't let that happen to you.
So, here's the benefit of a couple of decades of relationships, combined with things I have learnt from the THOUSANDS of people I've coached and taught over the years. Plus a bit of third party research. Stay safe on TikTok, and don't believe the hype.
Looking forward to reading your comments, if you're brave enough to leave them. Otherwise, message me on TikTok or Instagram if you have any questions, and I can answer them anonymously here.
Stay smart!
When I last interviewed Sam Andrews (@samueljeffersonandrews on TikTok), he was somewhere in the 800k area of followers on the app. He's now approaching 1.8 million, and the last few weeks have been epic, so we decided to chat again for the benefit of 'The Emilies' and... ultimately... humanity.
In this vid, you will discover:
Leave comments under this post so he can see your feedback. He has so many followers at this point that this is your best chance of being seen. By all means, copy and paste your comment to TikTok as well.
Let Sam know what his POV series has meant to you and what you love about him.
Rebecca Bardess - Pourer of The TikTok Tea
You may know Max Klymenko from his totally cute relationship with his cat, Mia, but what you may not know is that he's a super-successful business dude with the world-famous Accenture in London. In other words... he's hella smart. In fact, he has four degrees. FOUR. Two are master's degrees. It's hardly surprising that he's a deep thinker, which is the first thing we discuss in our chat. He's also utterly fascinating.
In this interview, Max shares with me his thoughts on:
Looking at the stats of those of you who've opted in to receive The TikTok Tea Times (which you should totally do after you've watched this video, by the way) I can see that the majority of you at the moment are young women.
I feel that it is, therefore, my duty in an older sister/ helpful aunt type capacity to inform you that both Max and Sam Andrews are single right now. Eligible bachelors, both. But, of course, you'll need to share attention with Mia the cat with Max, and a horde of 'Emilys' with Sam.
You can get more Max on TikTok, Instagram and his podcast, Big Fan of the Human Race.
Want more info on how to take care of a cat, choose your perfect job, or become TikTok famous? Leave your comments and questions for Max (and for me) in the comments section below, and share this post on social media to tell your friends about Max. In a rush? No problem, just hit one of the response buttons, but we'd LOVE to hear your thoughts, because this whole site is for you.
Remember you're awesome!
P.S. The music in the video is a little something I threw together, inspired by the interview, called Max Authenticity.

At the time of writing, TikTok is up in arms about Charli D'Amelio monetising a meet and greet. Meanwhile, TikTok is an unprofitable platform that could go out of business in a heartbeat if it fails to become profitable.
Who's right?
Podcaster, Jayson (Buzzfeed star of the Real Time with Jayson podcast) speaks to me about how we got to where we are online in this first part of his interview with me.
Thanks in advance to everyone who leaves a reaction, comment or both below.
I appreciate you,
Rebecca.
In this final part of my interview with Sam Andrews, the viral POV TikTok acting phenom, he reveals:
Also...
EXCLUSIVE! Finally discover whether or not you are the real Emily
Watch to the very end if you're a true fan of Sam's, because some of what he reveals will blow your mind.
Leave a comment below. It's the best way to be seen by him. This is a new blog, so you're not competing with the thousands of other people commenting on his TikTok posts here.
Also, let me know in the comments if you've invited your friends here, so I can put you on my list for future prize draws. Those of you who are the OGs of this community will be glad you did got involved so early. I appreciate you!
Stay creative,
Rebecca (@TheRebeccaBardess)
In this first part of my video interview with the legendary viral acting phenomenon Sam Andrews (@samueljeffersonandrews), we discuss:
Please leave comments here and tell your friends about this post. Most people on TikTok don't see this side of Sam, because of the time constraints on the vids there, and he can't always see your comments on TikTok as he gets so many, so let him know in the comments how you feel about him now you know him better.
Also, let me know who else you'd love to see/hear interviewed.
Keep grinning,
Rebecca

Welcome to my new blog: The TikTok Tea. If you've already subscribed to The TikTok Tea Times and read your first email from me, you'll know a bit of my story. If you haven't, you should do that now. But the story in this video is one I'd rather share on TikTok, live, so I can reply to your comments and let you know how it feels to go through something that hard and conquer it.
Why?
I know you're going through things in your own life right now that you can't talk to people about, and that sucks. You sit in your room and ask Google how to cope, but unless you know what you're dealing with it's hard to know what to ask Google. One of the things that comes with age is working out the best questions to ask, not so much having all the answers. Nobody has all the answers, but we can all ask better questions. If you're live with me on TikTok, I can help you with those in real time. Would you like that?
Although I have a STACK of experience in social media, as a pioneer of the space, a magazine columnist on social media culture for half a decade, and someone who has beta tested for everyone from Google to Twitter, I'm new to TikTok. So, I need two favours from you. Oh... British, by the way, so get used to favours having a 'u'.
Favour 1: Follow me on TikTok (TheRebeccaBardess) and comment there and here so I can check out your stuff (and maybe feature you here and in the newsletter if you impress me) and get enough followers to go live and tell you the whole story... and...
Favour 2: Leave your comments on the posts I make here so I can see how TikTok is making your life better or worse, and help you improve the good things and minimise the bad ones. (Again, we use 's' where you use 'z' in America quite often. If you fail your spelling tests, don't blame me!)
Keep grinning!
Rebecca
